| AIRPORT: Burbank (BUR), Ontario Int'l (ONT), Los Angeles Int'l (LAX) ALCOHOL/SMOKING: NO alcoholic beverages in or around the show hall. PLEASE respect this ruling. There is NO smoking in the show hall or vending areas. The area right outside of the front door has been designated as a "smoking" area for our Exhibitors who smoke. AWARDS: Top 10 format descending to Top 5 according to TICA Rules, dependent on number of cats competing. This show will be scored for Regional and International Awards. BENCHING: Every effort will be made to comply with benching requests, however, the Club can't guarantee that it will be followed "to the letter". CAGES: LARGE SINGLE CAGES!! Size: 21" deep x 27" tall x 36" wide (one door, no divider); cages MUST be covered on all three sides as well as the top and bottom. Please note on the Summary Sheet if you will be bringing your own cage(s) and the dimensions. Keep in mind that it must fit into the space indicated above. Absolutely NO exceptions! If your single entry cage is wider than 36" you will be charged an additional fee for "oversized cage". CAT SUPPLIES: Litter will be provided. Bring your own litter trays and food. CHECK IN/SHOW HOURS: Saturday 7:30am to 8:30am. Judging will begin PROMPTLY at 9am both days. Any cat not present by the start of judging will be marked absent until they arrive. Advertised show hours for the public are 9am-5pm on Saturday and 9am-4pm on Sunday. All cats must be present during the advertised show hours unless granted special permission to leave by the Club. CLERKS/STEWARDS: Clerks will be paid $30/day plus lunch. Do NOT deduct fees from your entry fees. Stewards will be paid $15/day plus lunch. Make sure you have someone reliable to run your cat to the rings for you. Please advise the Entry Clerk if you can clerk or have volunteers for stewarding. The Club reserves the right to make the final decision on all clerking assingments for the show. CLOSING DATES: ALL CLOSING DATES GIVEN ARE FINAL - ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS! All fees MUST accompany entries and all entries MUST be paid in advance. COURTESIES: All Exhibitors are respectfully requested to ovserve the common courtesies of being a guest at the show, and to keep their immediate areas clean and the aisle ways as clear as possible so that everyone can go to and from the rings in a timely manner. PLEASE be sure to clean up after your cats have used their litter trays. Be a good sport at all times while in the show hall and applaud your competitors in the show ring. ENTRY FEES/REGISTRATON REQUIREMENTS: An official entry form or facsimile must be used for each entry along with a completed summary sheet & full payment in US funds. Email, fax, and onlines entries will be accepted and are consider binding whether entry is benched or not. Online entries will only be officially entered when payment is received within 5 working days of first submittal. All kittens in competition must be 4 calendar months old. Kittens under 3 months of age are NOT permitted in the show hall. All adults in competition must be 8 calendar months old. All Adult HHP's MUST be spayed/neutered. No post dated checks! Cats will not be benched unless fees are paid. Per TICA rules, cats do not have to be registered to be shown in one show, however, unregistered cats do not earn points or titles. EXHIBITION/FOR SALE/GROOM SPACES: (available only to Exhibitors w/competing entries) Exhibition/For Sales must be given numbers so you must fill out an Entry form for each one whether named or not. Be prepared to show proof of age on kittens as they MUST be 3 months old to be in the show hall. The Club(s) reserves the right to cancel any of the above to make room for competing entries. All of the above is on a first come first serve basis. Check with the Entry Clerk for availability on any of the above. NO vending from groom spaces. All of the above spaces are 36". HEALTH: This is a non-vetted show. All kittens/cats in the show hall MUST be in good health, free from flea dirt, fungus, fleas or other parasites and current on vaccinations. Exhibitors of cats suspected to be ill or pregnant (as determined by the Show Committee) will be asked to leave the show hall with all their entries with NO refunds being made. Cats should be clean and claws must be clipped on all four feet. LIABILITY: All participans of this show agree to hold Kat Knappers CC, We Be Katz!, TICA, and the Masonic Center harmless from injury, loss or damage to cats, exhibitors, or property of exhibitors or vendors, or other such persons in attendance. MISCELLANEOUS: No kittens/cats may be confined to carriers, either displayed or under bench during show hours. Kittens under the age of 3 calendar months are not permitted in the shwohall. Be prepared to show proof of age if asked. All HHP Adults in competition MUST be spayed/neutered per TICA Show Rules......ABSOLUTLEY NO EXCEPTIONS! For the safety of our Exhibitors, their cats, and Spectators NO kittens/cats may be allowed "on leash" in or around the showhall at any time (this includes Vending areas). Per TICA Show Rules - Article 10 Responsibilities of Exhibitors (210.3) Exhibitors shall not sit in the ring holding cats prior to or during judging except with the explicit permission of the Judge; (210.9) When transporting a cat through the showhall, an exhibitor shall carry the cat in one or both hands or in a carrier. These rules will be STRICTLY enforced! TICA Show Rules will apply at all times. PARKING: Make sure that your car is locked up and nothing is left out to tempt a passerby. The Club, TICA, and the Masonic Center is not responsible for any theft or damages that may occur while you are at the show. PEOPLE FOOD: The Masonic kitchen staff will be cookin' up grub for everyone at the show. SHOW HALL: The Masonic Center is located at 50 West Duarte Road - Arcadia, CA 91006. When traveling East or West on the 210 freeway exit Santa Anita and go south apx 2 miles to Duarte Road then turn right. Almost immediately you'll turn left into the parking lot. Be very careful of oncoming Eastbound traffic as they have the right-of-way. SHOW HOTEL: Oak Tree Inn - 788 West Huntington Drive - Monrovia, CA 91016 (626-358-8981). Mention the cat show to get the special rate. Show rate is $59 for 1 or 2 persons and $64 for 3 or 4. We would like to use this hotel again so please be especially careful to keep rooms neat. Sweep up all litter from the floor and bag used litter, etc. Please confirm whole males to the bathroom. We want to continue to be welcome back for all our future shows.
